| ”Great job. I think what you've done is a solid contribution to musical pedagogy. I've made it through the first two lessons. Each one had a noticeable effect on my playing, even after the first time through. My sound opened up, the release of my air was smoother and more natural, and tension in general was noticeably reduced.” John Daley Principal Trombone, Colorado Symphony |
Dynamic Stability and Breath, Volume 1 & 2 Each Volume contains four audio lessons and guidebook for vocalists and wind instrumentalists of all levels and abilities. This series focuses on the two most fundamental aspects of singing and wind instrument playing: relaxed posture and freer breathing. With the eight 25-30 minute audio lessons on CD (4 per volume) and the written lesson summaries (which can be used anywhere you are practicing) you will be able to: • Refine, deepen and improve your breathing • Increase vital lung capacity • Find more ease and comfort while sitting and standing • Improve sound quality, intonation and expressive capabilities • Make practicing and performing more effective Volume 1 introduces you to the DMS lessons and focuses on Dynamic Stability while sitting and standing. You will begin to notice improvements in your posture as well as your breathing.. Volume 2 builds upon the previous lessons with more emphasis on Dynamic Breath, which explores different types of breathing so you can further refine and deepen your own personal style of breathing.
